DIVE IN ŌTEPOTI - INCLUSIVE MUSICAL PATHWAYS

CHARITABLE TRUST

We are delighted to announce a venue partnership with Dive in Õtepoti - Inclusive Musical Pathways, a recently incorporated charitable trust. The partnership with Dive in Ōtepoti will have a goal of facilitating inclusive musical pathways within Õtepoti, and aims to facilitate greater venue accessibility for community minded events and activities. Dive in Ōtepoti’s purpose is to:

• Maintain a symbiotic relationship with an established community music venue, allowing the benefit of access to its resources and facilities as both an educational base, but also with pathways to involvement with commercial event management.

• Practice for the values of inclusivity, accessibility, diversity, respect, and encouragement.

• Be guided by the principle pokohiwi ki tetahi pakihiwi, or shoulder to shoulder, standing together without judgement of others and treating the members of the community we walk with no better nor worse than another.

• Encourage a culture of questioning. Whilst we aim to educate and provide musical pathways for success, there is much we will learn on this journey from those around us, and we will always strive to learn, evolve and rise together.
